Norway's Financial Supervisory Authority (Finanstilsynet) has published a supervisory report concluding its review of compliance and internal audit arrangements at Swiss Life Asset Managers Funds AS. The firm is expected to assess findings in an accompanying consolidated report against its own organisational arrangements and use them to guide improvements. The thematic review covered five fund management companies and three alternative investment fund managers between May 2025 and April 2026, as part of a common supervisory action coordinated by the European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA). It assessed whether control functions were effective and had sufficient resources, expertise and authority, alongside examining proportionality assessments, board reporting and outsourcing. The assessment relied on submitted documentation, including questionnaire responses, and did not test adherence to the firm's internal procedures.
