The Financial Supervisory Authority of Norway has issued a supervisory report to REQ AS, closing its thematic inspection of the firm's compliance and internal audit arrangements. REQ AS is expected to review the accompanying consolidated findings, assess them against its own organizational arrangements and use them to guide improvements. The inspection formed part of a review conducted between May 2025 and April 2026 covering five fund management companies and three alternative investment fund managers. It was undertaken through a common supervisory action coordinated by the European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA). The review assessed whether compliance functions were effective and had sufficient resources, expertise and authority. It also examined proportionality assessments, board reporting and outsourcing arrangements. The assessment relied on submitted documentation, including questionnaire responses, and did not evaluate REQ AS's adherence to its internal procedures.
