The Financial Supervisory Authority of Norway has published a report closing its thematic inspection of Positron Capital AS's compliance and internal audit arrangements. The authority expects the firm to review the consolidated findings, assess them against its own organizational arrangements and use them in its improvement work. The inspection formed part of a European Securities and Markets Authority coordinated supervisory exercise covering five fund management companies and three alternative investment fund managers in Norway between May 2025 and April 2026. The assessment examined whether effective control functions had sufficient resources, expertise and authority to perform their duties. It covered proportionality assessments and risk management arrangements, alongside control planning, board reporting and outsourcing. The conclusions were based on submitted documentation, including questionnaire responses. The inspection did not assess whether Positron Capital followed its own internal procedures.
