Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) has entered into a partnership with Mizuho Financial Group to give up to 6,000 of the group’s startup clients access to the centre’s innovation ecosystem. The agreement supports Japanese businesses seeking to expand across the Middle East, Africa and South Asia, with market entry and establishment support available through the DIFC Innovation Hub. Eligible startups will receive access to Ignyte, DIFC’s digital innovation platform, for investor and corporate connections, mentoring and programmes tailored to their business needs. The collaboration also covers artificial intelligence skills development, financial technology innovation and digital transformation. These services draw on an established ecosystem: the Innovation Hub hosts more than 1,300 active technology and innovation firms, while Ignyte has previously run Web3 startup challenges offering financial incentives and access to industry partners.
