The Brazil Securities Commission (CVM) has issued a decision adding the Institute of Independent Auditors of Brazil (Ibracon) to its Education Advisory Committee. The decision was based partly on the technical relevance of Ibracon’s contribution to the CVM’s financial education initiatives and institutional consensus within the committee. The committee brings together organizations representing Brazil’s capital markets to promote and support projects that improve financial education. Alongside members’ individual educational activities, it develops joint programs offered free of charge to different segments of society.
