The Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) has reported the opening of Lianlian DigiTech’s Middle East regional office as a base for expanding its cross-border payment and treasury services. The expansion targets businesses operating between China, the Middle East and global markets. It follows the company’s earlier receipt of a Category 3D Payment Service Provider licence from the Dubai Financial Services Authority (DFSA). Local offerings will include cross-border collections, foreign exchange hedging and conversions, and global vendor disbursements, delivered in accordance with relevant regulatory authorisations and licensing frameworks. These services are designed to address lengthy fund turnover cycles, currency conversion costs and complex international payment workflows. Lianlian DigiTech also plans to deepen relationships with regional banks, financial institutions and commercial partners to support its regional operations.
