The National Bank of Ukraine reported that it met banks’ demand in full through transactions exchanging cashless foreign currency for foreign currency cash, supplying USD 40 million and EUR 9 million to replenish their cash holdings. Demand remained moderate, indicating sufficient foreign currency cash stocks in the financial system. Four banks participated, requesting less than the USD 50 million and EUR 50 million offered. Across the operations conducted November 3-5, 2026, available volumes significantly exceeded banks’ demand. The central bank remains ready to conduct additional operations if needed to replenish banks’ foreign currency cash holdings. These exchanges do not affect Ukraine’s international reserves.
