The Financial Superintendence of Colombia announced that Barranquilla will host the next stage of the "Me informo y cuido mi dinero" campaign on 11 and 12 June. Run jointly with the Superintendence of Companies and the Superintendence of Industry and Commerce, the initiative will offer three public educational sessions designed to help citizens identify illegal fundraising schemes, false promises of easy money, deceptive lenders and misleading credit offers. The programme includes two sessions on 11 June at the Universidad de la Costa, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and from 2:30 p.m., with the afternoon session focused on students and teachers but still open to the public. A third session will take place on 12 June from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the SENA and Corporación Universitaria Politécnico Costa Atlántica auditorium. The campaign is continuing to travel across different regions of Colombia with practical guidance aimed at preventing unauthorized fundraising schemes and other fraudulent offers.
