Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Finance announced that Finance Minister Mohammed Aljadaan will head the Kingdom’s delegation to the 2025 World Bank Group and International Monetary Fund Annual Meetings in Washington, D.C. from 13 to 18 October 2025. The delegation includes the Governor of the Saudi Central Bank (SAMA), Ayman Alsayari, and senior representatives from the Ministry of Finance, SAMA and other Saudi public institutions. Aljadaan and Alsayari are scheduled to participate in the Fourth G20 Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors meeting under the South African presidency, focused on global economic developments and international cooperation. Aljadaan will also attend the World Bank Group Development Committee to discuss the Bank’s development strategy, including job creation, private-sector enablement and policy reforms to attract investment, and will chair the International Monetary and Financial Committee meeting covering global growth prospects, emerging risks, economic policy priorities and the IMF’s role through financial assistance, advice and capacity development.
