The Portuguese Securities Commission (CMVM) announced it has become a member of the National CSIRT Network (NCSIRTN), joining more than 60 entities focused on detecting, responding to, preventing and mitigating cyber threats. The network operates as a collaborative platform for specialised teams to exchange information on security threats and incidents related to the management and mitigation of IT security incidents. CMVM said its integration followed a structured approach aligned with industry best practices and is intended to support closer collaboration with other entities’ teams while reinforcing its technological infrastructure and internal processes for information security.
