The Securities and Exchange Regulator of Cambodia reported that its Director General, Sou Socheat, led a delegation to attend the 20th anniversary of Japan-ASEAN Financial Technology Assistance in Cambodia, held at the Japanese Ambassador’s residence. The event brought together senior Cambodian and international officials, including Cambodia’s Deputy Prime Minister, representatives of the Ministry of Economy and Finance and the Non-Bank Financial Service Authority, the Governor of the National Bank of Cambodia, the Ambassador of Japan to Cambodia, the Asian Development Bank’s Cambodia Country Director, and a Senior Deputy Vice Minister of Finance from Japan. It focused on strengthening Japan-Cambodia partnership under the ASEAN+3 Bond Markets Initiative in mapping financial infrastructure to support Cambodia’s economic development.
