The Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina has signed cooperation agreements with several public faculties in Bosnia and Herzegovina, aiming to strengthen links with academia, enhance research and support the development of professional competencies for students and young researchers. The agreements cover joint research, analytical and innovation projects, involvement of academic staff through guest lectures and tutorships, and reciprocal tutorship programmes and guest lectures by central bank employees. They also include professional and summer internships for students, partnership in scientific publishing and support for research projects, plus workshops, conferences and other forms of professional exchange. Agreements were signed with the Faculty of Science and Mathematics in Sarajevo, the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in Sarajevo, the Faculty of Electrical Engineering in East Sarajevo, the Faculty of Economics in Tuzla, the School of Economics and Business in Sarajevo, and the Faculty of Economics in Pale, with the selection aligned to the Central Bank’s business needs and processes. Further agreements are planned with the Faculty of Information Technologies in Mostar, the Faculty of Economics in Banja Luka and the Faculty of Law in Banja Luka.
