Angola's Ministry of Finance published findings from the Angolan Insurance Regulation and Supervision Agency’s complaints report, which recorded 350 complaints and an overall resolution rate of 77%. Of the total, 318 concerned insurers and 32 involved pension fund entities and management companies. The main issues were delays in settling claims and paying compensation, inadequate communication and contractual noncompliance. ENSA Seguros, Salam Allianz and Nossa Seguros received the most complaints, reflecting their size, but each recorded resolution rates above 90%. Supervised entities were urged to improve information provided when contracts are entered into and to include complaints management and handling in the training curriculum for individual insurance intermediaries.
