The National Bank of Moldova, in partnership with the National Bank of Romania and the Bucharest Academy of Economic Studies, has launched the fourth edition of the “School of Modern Finance” programme for students and master’s students from the Academy of Economic Studies of Moldova. The programme will run in Bucharest from 26 July to 3 August 2025, with 17 participants selected through a competitive process. The curriculum combines lectures delivered by Romanian experts and academics, discussions with representatives of the financial and banking sector, and applied analysis sessions. The agenda also includes cultural and historical visits to Iași, Sinaia, Brașov and Suceava, and the National Bank of Moldova highlighted that partners are contributing, including through financial support. From September 2025, the programme will expand to include students and master’s students from the Faculty of Journalism and Communication Sciences at Moldova State University, as well as journalists specialising in economics. After completing the programme, participants are expected to deliver financial education sessions in rural areas for citizens of all ages.

Running from 26 July to 3 August 2025 in Bucharest, it includes lectures, discussions, and cultural visits, with plans to expand to journalism students and economic journalists from September 2025. Participants will later conduct financial education sessions in rural areas.
