Andorra's Ministry of Finance announced that the Government has approved the 2026 issuance of Andorran euro coins with a total face value of EUR 6,039,160 under the 2011 Monetary Agreement with the European Union, which has allowed Andorra to issue euro coins since 2014. The issuance covers circulation coins across all denominations and two commemorative EUR 2 coins. Minting has been awarded to Spain’s Fábrica Nacional de Moneda y Timbre – Real Casa de la Moneda, in line with the alternation system established with the Monnaie de Paris. The programme includes 7,959,000 coins for circulation, 60,000 units for each of the two commemorative EUR 2 designs, and 7,000 presentation sets containing the eight denominations; total approved expenditure for minting and presentation is EUR 1,194,851, awarded to the Spanish mint and to LADA snc di Maniglio Paolo & C for the preparation of presentation sets and cases.
