The United Arab Emirates General Pension and Social Security Authority, together with pension and social security entities across the Gulf Cooperation Council, has launched a unified awareness campaign on the Unified Extension Protection System. The campaign is aimed at GCC nationals working in a member state other than their home country and focuses on explaining how the system preserves pension contributions and rights across borders and how workers can benefit from it. The campaign will cover the insurance benefits available to insured persons and their families, the statutory obligations of employers and employees, and the rules governing contribution payments. It targets government and private sector employers, GCC nationals working across the region, and the media, and will be delivered through digital platforms, traditional media, official social media channels, and interactive workshops.
