The Tanzania Insurance Regulatory Authority, through its Northern Zone office in Arusha, is participating in the Nane Nane farmers’ exhibition at the Njiro grounds in Arusha to provide insurance education and gather feedback from the public. Outreach at the TIRA booth has included sessions for students from Young Boys Academy on the importance of insurance, including health insurance, with participants encouraged to act as ambassadors for insurance awareness. The authority is also providing education on agricultural, fisheries and livestock insurance to promote protection of assets against risks such as drought, floods and pest outbreaks. The exhibition started on 1 August 2025 and is scheduled to run until 8 August 2025, with TIRA continuing its engagement activities throughout the event.
