The Central Bank of Russia published its October 2025 monitoring results for the maximum interest rates on Russian ruble household deposits offered by the 10 credit institutions with the largest household deposit bases. The average maximum rate across the top 10 banks was 15.46% in the first 10 days of October, 15.45% in the second 10 days and 15.37% in the third 10 days. For reference, the reported average maximum rates by maturity were 14.72% (up to 90 days), 14.83% (91 to 180 days), 14.42% (181 days to one year) and 12.55% (over one year), based on rates publicly available on the banks’ websites and subject to the Bank of Russia’s stated inclusion and exclusion criteria.
