The National Bank of Georgia announced that Governor Natia Turnava and Finance Minister Lasha Khutsishvili are attending the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development annual meetings and holding bilateral discussions with partner international organisations and financial institutions. The meetings are being used to present Georgia’s macroeconomic environment and forecasts and to support efforts to enhance the country’s investment climate. The annual meetings were framed as a forum for addressing global and regional economic challenges, sustainable development, and private-sector support. In this context, Turnava highlighted that, despite global economic challenges, Georgia’s economy remains resilient and that the central bank’s monetary policy has delivered price stability, underpinning sustainable growth, while maintaining investor interest in Georgia.
