The Brazil Securities Commission has announced a judgment session for 2 June from 15:00 covering two administrative sanctioning proceedings. One case concerns Thiago Yabrudi Brimana and alleged irregular exercise of securities portfolio management activity. The other concerns alleged failures by directors of TBM-Têxtil Bezerra de Menezes S.A. to prepare and submit periodic information to CVM and to hold the annual general meeting within the legal deadline. The first proceeding examines a suspected breach of Article 2 of CVM Resolution 21 read with Article 23 of Law 6.385. The second names Ivan Rodrigues Bezerra, Ivan José Bezerra de Menezes, Marcelo Meneghessi, Ricardo Jucá Machado, Lize Bezerra de Menezes Morais Correia and Davi Bezerra Januário. The session will be open to the public at CVM headquarters in Rio de Janeiro and available by videoconference. If none of the accused or their appointed representatives indicates an intention to participate, CVM will conduct the session on a restricted basis through an electronic voting system. Technical staff reports released with the notice may be amended after the session.
