The National Bank of Ukraine has temporarily extended the settlement deadline for specified agricultural exports to 150 days, using its authority to set differentiated periods for particular goods on the government’s recommendation. The measure covers transactions conducted from July 1, 2026, through Aug. 31, 2027, involving designated grain and oilseed crops, vegetable oils and related byproducts. The adjustment responds to Russian missile strikes on port infrastructure and civilian vessels in July 2026, which disrupted maritime logistics and increased transport times on alternative routes. It is intended to reduce exporters’ risk of breaching currency rules and preserve agricultural export capacity without creating risks to macrofinancial stability.
