The Insurance and Private Pension Regulation and Supervision Agency of Türkiye has updated the minimum appraisal fee schedules for insurance experts, applying indexation based on the consumer price index change for the first half of 2025 published by TurkStat (TÜİK). The revised tariffs apply from July 2025 under the framework of the Regulation on Appointment of Insurance Experts. For motor vehicle insurance, the minimum fee for passenger cars, light commercial vehicles and motorcycles starts at TRY 2,081.65 for losses up to TRY 83,265.61 and increases on a tiered formula up to a flat TRY 19,428.64 for losses of TRY 2,775,520.11 and above. Minimum fees for heavy vehicles are set at 50% above, and for work machinery at 120% above, the corresponding fee calculated for the passenger/light commercial/motorcycle group. The tariff also sets fixed minimum fees for diminution-of-value assessments (TRY 1,248.99) and accident report preparation (TRY 1,887.36), while remote assessments and value determinations are paid at two-thirds of the calculated tier fee. For non-motor insurance, minimum fees start at TRY 2,636.75 for losses up to TRY 20,816.40, rise through tiered percentage-based calculations, and for losses of TRY 2,775,520.11 and above are to be agreed by the parties subject to a floor of TRY 83,924.79.
