The International Swaps and Derivatives Association (ISDA) has been named Industry Association of the Year for the third consecutive year at the GlobalCapital Global Derivatives Awards 2025 and won Digital Solution of the Year for its Digital Regulatory Reporting (DRR) initiative. ISDA highlighted recent work including the July 16, 2025 launch of the ISDA Notices Hub and the ISDA 2025 Notices Hub Protocol, with more than 120 buy- and sell-side entities across North America, Europe and Asia Pacific adhering to enable use of the platform for delivery and receipt of termination notices and waivers and centralized maintenance of physical delivery addresses. It also pointed to its involvement in Saudi Arabia’s close-out netting legislation (published in February 2025 and based on ISDA’s Model Netting Act), bringing ISDA’s published netting opinions to 90 jurisdictions, as well as ongoing engagement with regulators on the final parts of Basel III implementation and a March 2025 report finding 87% of nearly 1,200 companies across seven major stock indices use derivatives. For DRR, ISDA said the solution uses the Common Domain Model to translate agreed interpretations of reporting rules into machine-executable code; coverage has been expanded to Australia, Canada, the EU, Japan, Singapore and the UK, with Hong Kong expected to follow in September 2025, and an end-state target of supporting 11 regimes across nine jurisdictions.
