The Securities and Exchange Commission of the Republic of North Macedonia supported the Macedonian Stock Exchange’s sixth annual “Investor Day”, under which domestic individuals could trade shares across market segments without paying commissions to the Stock Exchange, the Central Securities Depository, or participating banks and brokerage houses, for turnover up to EUR 10,000. Trading activity on the day reached 396 transactions, the highest daily number in 2025, with 547 orders entered into the Exchange’s BEST system, also the highest for the year. Total share-trading turnover in BEST exceeded EUR 917,000 (around MKD 56 million). The initiative was supported by the Securities Commission, the 11 members of the Macedonian Stock Exchange and the Central Securities Depository.
