The role centers on strengthening anti-money laundering, countering the financing of terrorism and countering proliferation financing oversight in the securities sector, including developing supervisory frameworks and tools, carrying out sector risk assessments, and investigating potential breaches by licensees. The position covers offsite monitoring, onsite inspections, thematic reviews and joint inspections with other supervisors, as well as drafting inspection and investigation reports and recommending enforcement or remedial action. It also includes advising management on compliance levels among Securities Market Intermediaries, assessing internal controls and AML/CFT policies, and designing surveys on AML/CFT understanding in the sector. Applicants are required to hold a relevant bachelor’s degree and have at least two years of experience in AML/CFT, capital markets, risk management or compliance in the financial sector.
