The Qatar Financial Markets Authority (QFMA) is participating in the Ordinary General Meeting of the Association of National Numbering Agencies (ANNA), hosted in Croatia on 18 June 2025, with an official delegation attending the three-day meeting. Discussions are set to cover developments in digital assets, ways to strengthen cooperation among member states, and updates to ANNA’s strategic programmes and initiatives. QFMA has been an ANNA member since 2015, linking its engagement to adopting international best practices for financial market development, supporting stability and transparency, and protecting securities dealers, including practices aimed at facilitating trading processes. Established in 1992, ANNA focuses on implementing international ISO standards in capital markets and promoting international numbers as the approved method for identifying financial instruments, including harmonising securities identification numbers in line with ISO Standard 6166.
