Mexico's National Commission for the Protection and Defence of Users of Financial Services (CONDUSEF) released the fourth quarter 2025 results of its User Service Performance Index (IDATU) for retirement fund administrators (AFOREs), which benchmarks how effectively institutions handle and resolve user complaints. The sector score was 9.1 out of 10, up 0.1 points from the previous quarter. The IDATU assesses timeliness of attention, quality of responses, and measures taken by institutions to improve processes, with an emphasis on equitable treatment including for vulnerable groups such as older adults. CONDUSEF highlighted Afore XXI Banorte as the top performer with 10 points, followed by Profuturo with 9.99, Pensionissste with 9.87 and Afore Banamex with 9.86, while Invercap recorded the lowest score at 6.80. CONDUSEF positioned the indicator as a transparency tool to help users compare AFORE performance and encouraged users to consult the results and assert their rights if dissatisfied with the services received.
