The Central Bank of Slovenia announced that the National Assembly has appointed Primož Dolenc as the sixth Governor of Banka Slovenije. He will assume the role and begin his term as a member of the central bank’s Governing Board once the internal procedures required under the Banka Slovenije Act have been completed. Following the appointment, Dolenc outlined priorities including continuing efforts to adapt the financial system to people’s needs and strengthening its stability, resilience and accessibility, alongside constructive engagement and open professional dialogue with stakeholders.
