The European Securities and Markets Authority has published the draft agenda for Data Day 2026, which will bring together more than 200 industry participants, regulators and other stakeholders in Paris on Nov. 24. The event will examine how technology, data and simpler reporting requirements can support more effective supervision and further integration of European Union capital markets. Sessions will address reporting burden reduction, financial transaction and fund reporting, artificial intelligence in regulatory and supervisory technology, and crypto-asset market surveillance. ESMA will also present work on the European Single Access Point and demonstrate its first prototype ahead of the platform’s planned July 2027 launch.
