The National Bank of Hungary (MNB) has opened its 2025 Technical Cooperation Programme, offering technical assistance to partner central bank and supervisory experts for a third consecutive year under the theme “Stability in Transitions” and focusing on knowledge exchange and sharing best practices. The programme began with the seminar “Green and Sustainable Finances – Introducing the MNB’s Green Program”, held in Budapest on 14–17 April. Almost 30 representatives from 17 countries attended, and the agenda covered the MNB’s sustainability strategy, carbon footprint reduction initiatives, climate stress testing, green mortgages, and approaches to managing ESG and biodiversity risks, alongside practical workshops and contributions from both MNB specialists and private-sector speakers.
