Brunei Darussalam Central Bank has launched its second Financial Sector Blueprint, setting the strategic direction for the country’s financial sector from 2026 through 2035. Anchored in monetary and financial stability, the framework aligns the central bank’s priorities with those of the financial industry, public and private sector stakeholders, and international partners. The blueprint focuses on three strategic thrusts: developing a progressive and innovative financial sector, advancing sustainability through finance, and establishing modern, technology-driven financial infrastructure. It builds on the first blueprint and follows the central bank’s earlier work to develop a new framework for 2026–2035, with implementation requiring coordinated action across the public and private sectors.
