The Isle of Man Financial Services Authority has published speeches and panel sessions from the 2026 Countering Financial Crime Conference, held in Douglas on Aug. 12. The presentations examine efforts to prevent financial systems from being exploited for cyber enabled fraud, sanctions evasion, money laundering and human trafficking and drug trafficking. Topics include the National Risk Assessment, risk based compliance, public private partnerships and the use of technology. Speakers also address sixth round MONEYVAL mutual evaluations, whistleblower rewards for information about serious tax evasion, the Basel AML Index, online investment fraud and illicit finance involving offshore territories.
