The State Bank of Vietnam held its 2025 civil servant and public employee conference for the Communications Department in Hanoi, where Standing Deputy Governor Dao Minh Tu indicated the department’s organisational structure will change as part of implementing the streamlining agenda set out in Resolution 18-NQ/TW. He emphasised that the role, functions and necessity of communications work would remain. The conference reviewed the Communications Department’s recent work, including policy communications on monetary policy and banking operations across mass media and social media, as well as financial education programmes such as “Tien kheo Tien khon” (VTV3), “Tay hom chia khoa” (VTV1) and “Dong tien thong thai” (VTV1), related competitions and events, and a financial education channel on TikTok. The unit also reported ongoing work to manage sector-wide communications and maintain the State Bank of Vietnam’s online portal, and noted that the department and individuals had received commendations, including an “Excellent Labour Collective” title for 2022. For 2025, the department committed to concentrating resources to deliver its assigned tasks while adapting to the planned organisational changes.
