The Central Bank of Jordan has opened applications for 12 undergraduate scholarships intended for recruitment purposes, with one scholarship allocated to each governorate. The awards cover economics, statistics, accounting and finance programs at official Jordanian universities beginning in the first semester of the 2026-27 academic year. Applicants must be Jordanian, no older than 19 at the announcement date and 2026 secondary school graduates with an average of at least 95%. They must have completed their final two school years in the governorate under which they apply and provide unconditional admission to a regular, rather than parallel, university program. Foreign secondary certificates must be equivalent to the Jordanian scientific-stream qualification, with an average of at least 95%. Other conditions include not holding another scholarship and having no disqualifying criminal conviction. Applications close at 4 p.m. on Aug. 25, 2026.
