The Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Ontario has suspended the life insurance and accident and sickness benefits insurance agent licence issued to Reditha Abila Castillejos after determining that Castillejos failed to facilitate an FSRA examination and failed to provide information requested by the regulator. FSRA said this was contrary to sections 443(1) and 442.3(3) of the Insurance Act. The order was issued after Castillejos did not request a hearing before the Financial Services Tribunal and did not contest FSRA’s proposal.

The Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Ontario has suspended the life insurance and accident and sickness benefits insurance agent licence of Reditha Abila Castillejos for failing to facilitate an FSRA examination and to provide requested information, contrary to sections 443(1) and 442.3(3) of the Insurance Act. The order followed Castillejos’ decision not to request a hearing before the Financial Services Tribunal and not to contest FSRA’s proposal.
