The National Bank of the Republic of Tajikistan reported that a delegation led by Chairman Firdavs Nazrimad Tolibzoda visited the German Federal Bank (Bundesbank) branch in Munich on 5 August as part of bilateral engagement and exchange of central banking experience, with a focus on cash centre operations. During meetings with Reinhold Vollbracht, President of the Bundesbank’s regional division in Bavaria, and Michelle Kroisser, Director of the Munich regional division, Bundesbank specialists presented modern cash processing technologies, security systems and cash transportation arrangements. Discussions also covered banknote quality control and measures to combat counterfeit currency. Both sides indicated their readiness to further develop the partnership and continue exchanges in key areas of central bank activity.
