The National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic has amended its temporary permission for commercial banks to export old cash US dollars, allowing exports of worn USD banknotes and USD banknotes issued before 2006 (inclusive) until 1 September 2026. Under the updated terms, commercial banks may export these banknotes from the Kyrgyz Republic in exchange for cash USD and/or non-cash USD.

The National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic has extended its temporary permission for commercial banks to export old cash US dollars, including worn banknotes and those issued before 2006, until 1 September 2026. Banks can exchange these for cash or non-cash USD.
