The Angola Insurance Authority (ARSEG) presented its complaint management report for the insurance and pension fund sectors covering the second half of 2025, reporting 331 complaints and a 74% resolution rate. Insurers accounted for 312 complaints and pension fund management companies for 19, with total complaints down 13% versus the prior period and 2% versus the year-earlier period. ARSEG reported 232 cases closed and identified the main causes as delays in claims settlement, failure to pay indemnities, weak or absent communication, and non-compliance with legally established complaint-handling rules and procedures.
