The Brazilian Superintendence of Private Insurance (SUSEP) will hold a virtual public hearing to discuss the general rules for mutualistic property protection operations, focusing on a first draft regulation intended to implement Complementary Law No. 213 of 15 January 2025. The hearing will run from 14:30 to 17:30 on 14 November and will be livestreamed on SUSEP’s YouTube channel. The topic has already been debated through Public Consultation No. 02/2025, and the draft was developed following seven months of studies and technical discussions led by SUSEP and a working group established in March 2025. SUSEP framed the rulemaking as part of its strategy to support the National Policy for Access to Insurance. Stakeholders seeking to deliver oral remarks must register by 7 November, with each entity limited to one speaker and a maximum speaking time of five minutes. SUSEP may confirm speakers based on available time and representativeness, while others may follow the session as listeners without prior registration.
