The Canadian Public Accountability Board (CPAB) announced changes to its Board of Directors, appointing Charlene Ripley and confirming the retirement of long-serving director Julie Dickson. Ripley, a Vancouver-based lawyer and public company executive and corporate director, was appointed effective March 13, 2026. CPAB said she serves on Keyera Corp.’s Human Resources Committee and chairs its Governance and Sustainability Committee. Dickson retired from the CPAB Board effective April 2, 2026 after nine years of service, during which she contributed to the Board’s work including through the Risk and Audit Committee; she previously served as Superintendent of Financial Institutions of Canada. CPAB noted that its Board oversees the organization’s mandate relating to public confidence in the integrity of financial reporting for reporting issuers in Canada, and that directors are appointed by the Council of Governors.
