The Brazilian Securities and Exchange Commission (CVM) will introduce a new layout for section 6.1/2 of the Reference Form, covering ownership positions within control and economic groups, from Oct. 3, 2026. The change applies to publicly held and foreign companies and is intended to make data entry more responsive. The complete Reference Form report will also receive a new format, including an index. For resubmissions, the system will automatically transfer information from section 6.1/2 of the latest filed version into the new structure.

The Brazilian Securities and Exchange Commission will update the Reference Form’s ownership-position table and complete report format from Oct. 3, 2026. Existing information will transfer automatically into the new structure when companies resubmit the form.
