The Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis has appointed Cara Kolb as senior vice president of Risk and Compliance. She will oversee the division responsible for risk management and compliance with the Bank’s procedures and policies, as well as data privacy and records management. Kolb joined the Federal Reserve System in 2004 and has held leadership roles in Treasury Services and information technology. She became the Minneapolis Fed’s chief information officer and senior vice president of information technology in 2024 and fills the vacancy created by Rick Thornton’s retirement.
