The Australian Securities and Investments Commission has accepted Ross Thomson’s application to cancel his registration as a liquidator after raising concerns about whether he remained fit and proper, had adequate resources and had faithfully performed his duties. Thomson made no admissions regarding the regulator’s concerns. Following an ASIC request in July 2026, Thomson voluntarily resigned from several liquidations, with Nicole Allmark and Paula Smith appointed as replacements. Separately, the Federal Court transferred his remaining bankruptcy estates to the Official Trustee.
