Taiwan’s Financial Supervisory Commission (FSC) has issued an advance notice of a draft amendment that would allow insurance enterprises, and public companies with insurance subsidiaries, to extend the deadline for publicly announcing and filing the previous month’s consolidated operating revenue when they cannot meet the current monthly deadline. From FY 2026, the proposal would permit an extension from the 10th day of each month to the 15th day, reflecting the more complex insurance revenue calculation process following adoption of IFRS 17 Insurance Contracts. The scope covers life insurance, property insurance, and reinsurance enterprises, and excludes insurance brokers and agents. The FSC will publish the draft’s general description and an article-by-article comparison table for public consultation, with comments due within 60 days from the day after the announcement via the FSC Laws and Regulations Retrieving System.
