The Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission has launched a public consultation on the Chinese-language draft amendments to the Securities and Futures (Financial Resources) Rules, providing a Chinese version of the proposed enhancements previously issued in English. The Chinese draft corresponds to the English draft amendments consulted on from 14 July 2025 under a consultation paper that also covered guidelines for the Internal Models Approach for Financial Resources Rules market risk charges calculation and general principles for model risk management, which closed on 13 October 2025. Written comments on the Chinese draft are due by 6 February 2026.
