Card transactions in domestic commerce made with cards issued by domestic payment service providers rose year on year by 10.2% in number and 13.6% in value, driven mainly by growth in e-commerce payments (29.2%) and POS terminal payments (8.8%). Payment orders initiated by citizens also increased, with transaction volumes up 9.9% and values up 22.2%, alongside a 50.2% rise in the number of transactions executed via mobile payment applications; mobile apps accounted for 65% of all electronically initiated payment orders.
