The Oman Financial Services Authority released market figures showing a sharp increase in crowdfunding activity in 2025. Funded projects rose to 243 from 114 in 2024, while annual financing climbed to about OMR 19 million from OMR 5.9 million. Since operations began in 2022, cumulative crowdfunding financing reached about OMR 29.4 million across 357 projects. The data shows steady expansion since the market launched, with financed projects increasing from 21 in 2022 to 49 in 2023, 114 in 2024 and 243 in 2025. Financing volumes rose over the same period from OMR 1.7 million to OMR 2.8 million, then OMR 5.9 million and OMR 19 million. The market had seven active licensed platforms in 2025, down from nine in previous years, and funded projects covered 10 sectors including technology, logistics services, food products and trade.
