The Isle of Man Financial Services Authority has issued updated “Guidance Notes and Information Concerning the Insurance Regulations 2025 and the Corporate Governance Code of Practice for Insurers 2021”, which came into effect on 22 July 2025. The document replaces the previous “Guidance Notes and Information Concerning Various Insurance Regulations and the CGC”, which has been removed from the Authority’s website. The updates incorporate changes introduced by the Insurance Regulations 2025, which came into effect on 30 June 2025. Further updates to the guidance are expected over time as the Authority continues to collaborate with the insurance sector on areas including fast-track authorisations, insurance special purpose vehicles and captive insurance.
