The Dubai Financial Services Authority (DFSA) has launched DFSA Connect, a digital platform designed to streamline applications for authorisation and regulatory approvals for firms seeking to conduct financial services in and from the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC). The platform is intended to make submissions faster and more user-friendly while improving how applications are processed. The rollout follows an 18% increase in applications for authorisation in the first three quarters of 2025 (to 30 September 2025). DFSA Connect introduces automation and streamlined workflows intended to reduce manual steps and delays, and the DFSA expects a 33% efficiency gain that should translate into faster turnaround times for authorisations and approvals. The platform is also positioned to support future artificial intelligence integration to personalise the applicant experience and further accelerate approvals. The DFSA indicated that additional enhancements, including advanced AI-enabled capabilities, will be introduced over time.
