The Jordan Securities Commission (JSC) signed a memorandum of understanding with the Jordanian Association of Certified Public Accountants to strengthen cooperation and coordination across areas of shared interest under the applicable legislation. The arrangement is positioned as supporting efforts to implement international accounting standards and governance in the capital market. The memorandum provides for exchanging expertise, undertaking joint research projects, cooperating on workshops, seminars, conferences and related events, and exchanging publications and scientific research outputs. It also envisages sharing information, sources and data in line with the legal parameters governing each party’s work. The MoU was signed by JSC Chairman Dr. Adel Benno and Association Chairman Hossam Rahhal; the JSC also noted it has signed similar cooperation agreements with several domestic authorities and universities.
